Transitional Housing

Recovery Support Home

A joint project of Crosspoint and Alpha Home

Alpha Home Inc., in collaboration with Crosspoint, Inc., opened the first of its kind – the Recovery Support Home (RSH) in San Antonio in 2012. The facility provides an orderly, home-like atmosphere in a quiet residential neighborhood.Recovery Support Home 005

The mission of Recovery Support Home is to offer life-changing support to some of our city’s most vulnerable women who have completed residential addictions rehab treatment and lack the resources to live independently in a safe and sober environment. Recovery Support Home provides the transitional safety net and launching pad for sober, independent living at a critical time in their recovery. The program can accommodate up to 15 women at a time. During their anticipated four-month stay, the residents will attend outpatient treatment, work, save money, develop positive support systems and establish permanent housing.

Residents of Recovery Support Home are assisted in finding jobs and are expected to secure employment prior to or shortly after admission.

Recovery Support Home residents are provided with three catered meals daily, 24/7 House Manager on duty,  case management services, employment assistance, guidance in procuring stable housing, optional weekly onsite Bible study groups with volunteers from Trinity Baptist Church, and a weekly spirituality class led by a volunteer minister.
