How to Apply for treatment at Alpha Home

If you are interested in either the Residential program or the Outpatient program at Alpha Home, you must first be evaluated to determine whether you are eligible. You will then be given an appointment time for a screening assessment. If you reach the voice message system, leave your name and telephone number, and an admissions counselor will return your call as soon as possible. Please note, due to the high volume of calls, we are unable to return all calls within 24 hours. If you are experiencing a crisis or in need of immediate assistance, please contact 911.

Residential Treatment

To inquire about Residential Treatment (for women only), call the Alpha Home Admissions office at (210) 785-3011 or email, to schedule an assessment.

Outpatient Treatment

To inquire about Outpatient Treatment (for women and men), call the Alpha Home Admissions office at (210) 785-3012 or email, to schedule an assessment.

Walk-in applicants will be seen as we are able based upon staff availability. An appointment may be set up for a future date if no one is available at time of walk-in.

What Makes Me Eligible for Treatment at Alpha Home?

Alpha Home treats adult women and men dealing with substance use disorder and those at risk for substance use.

Alpha Home works with those who are motivated and are willing to comply with treatment requirements. We have funding assistance available to those who are assessed as unable to pay.

After the Screening Assessment

Due to the great need for affordable treatment in Texas, there may be a waiting period for admission into Alpha Home’s Residential program, and you will be given instructions by the Admissions counselor on how to remain on the wait list. Generally, admission in to the Outpatient program is immediate.
